Gel Nails Palm Springs

New pictures again

Hello ...

Here, classes are over here since Friday and so now at work, the examination session is already beginning this Thursday, Nov. 28 to finish on December 18th!

I am currently in 'blockade' as they say in Belgium, Studying time! But I have time since my exams are on 13, 14 and 18 December! So with a buddy we go from 5 to 10 December in Oslo one day and then head for Stockholm 4days! So it's only now I no longer have to waste too much time at work! That's why my blog is not out of date ... I still have so many weekends of adventure to tell, but for that we must be patient and wait for my exams! But until I put lots of photos on picasaweb:

http://picasaweb.google.fr/Rachel.linel/OctobreNovembreEnNorvGe

Photos of a cabin'trip under the snow without cabin , a ski trip of 3 days, the game of handball, the aurora borealis and parties ... and of course lots of scenery! Right now, everything is white, as snow before it rained, but the days are very short, it's dark at 15h!

I let you discover it ... Take your eyes open!

soon! kisses

Yellow Discharge 3dpo

Cabin'trip

weekend of 13 and 14 October is left for my third cabin'trip this time STAKKSLETTSBUA direction. As usual, take the bus to get to the start of the hike. And here, there is often only one bus a day, and this time the bus leaves at 15h and the hike was long and thus arriving at night at the cabin. But that did not make us afraid;) So to spice it all, Eloise was very, very hard, I'll say that ... then go to the bus stop (30min walk from where Moholt one lives) everyone was on time, even the English, I ask the simple question to Eloise, you got the keys to the cabin anyway?? she replied with a face now all white ... NO ... that is when the race against time began, we had exactly 15 minutes before the bus arrives, it's a little more time in Fort Boyard, but here was proof of more stressful cabin'trip or not?!?!

Having adopted two cars without success, the third was good, a nice grandpa Norwegian Eloise took hitchhiking Moholt direction and we took her back to the time! Merciii! And the bus came ... Now we could relax a little, 2 hours journey towards the south. Here we are, 17h, 12 Erasmus, and a way, it's gone. First, a wide path for 9km and then hike a small trail for 2km and then after ... you have to make do! Night falls as we are always on the wide path, but we are equipped with flashlights and more motivated than ever to some. Fortunately it was not raining, but the trail was flooded cons, pretty folk especially in the dark night when you do not really know where you walk! And very lucky we found our cabin quickly, or else those who ran the card in the dark were quite talented enough!

After a quick tour of the premises, you must start the fire and start prepare the dinner menu, potatoes, pols (sort of sausage Zwan, we find everywhere in Norway and it's cheap, but I'm disgusted) and pea. The atmosphere was very warm and there was even a guitar to lead our party! And at midnight, surprise, it was Eloise's birthday, no cake but a few candles and gifts.

The next day, wake noon, we sleep really well in cabin ', we finally discover the landscape that surrounds us, there is no snow, no rain, so it's already that! And after long breakfast, we must already think of any store and do the dishes before the start ... the return is done quietly and again, it's dark before it reaches the bus stop.

Another nice weekend in a new area south of Trondheim, thank you to Eloise for the organization! For photos, you have the habit now, follow the link:

http://picasaweb.google.fr/Rachel.linel/CabinTrip1314Octobre

You will see that we did not was a single ray of sunshine this weekend, but no rain except a little late, so we can say that we were lucky, and yes that's right ... Norway

Otherwise I hope that in Belgium or France, you are all well, enjoy your day ... because here it's already dark at 4am! I'm not too used to and makes you want to eat all the time, not good!

My next articles will arrive soon, a new cabin'trip with the discovery of a new tradition: Sauna Sauna Snow Snow ... and an article on the Norwegian food, perhaps! Soon

PS: thank you Julie and Claire for your holiday cards and all for your emails!

Poem About Money And A Baby

The college and my classes ... WE

I do not know where to start so there is much to say ... Every week I'm surprised because I discovered that way is really impressive! First, here for the student card, it takes you a photo and 5 minutes later, it gives you your card is super fast and so is all that is paperwork! Once there is a small problem, the leadership and international office by day everything is back to normal, no need to run as at Louvain office in office and sometimes wait for weeks for a simple paper!
Here, they really work!

Otherwise as I've already said, I have three classes, which makes me 13 hours of classes a week and I have no classes on Friday, so it's really extra for you travelers on WE ! By cons, here we have lots of homework and work, so it is less gland in Belgium! The week so I work a lot, no morning or leave aprèm! But I'm not going to complain because sometimes they are quoted and accounts for a lot of points in the middle! For example, in course (Industrial Ecology) weekly group we work to realize all these works account for 50%, so we give ourselves a lot on this, and because it pays each time for now we have over 90%! Class! For example, in a way, it was a total of 10 assignments during the period, to pass the exam, you must validate 5! In Norway, they all work a lot during the year, they arrive in the morning and leave at 4 am even though they did not progress, they remain in college to work! But we must know the infrastructure here makes you want to work! Here, I've got all my classes in the program Master "Industrial Ecology" and so we have a room just for us, with ordis, really comfortable seats, free printer to print as much as you like, scan, everything is at our disposal, and little more than a corner sofa to rest, it's really quiet! Get all the rooms here, and there are plenty around, are really well equipped (for example, in one, there are two screens for each pc), and not at all dilapidated. And so is all that is available to us, everything is still intact, the Norwegians are very respectful to the material standpoint, it's really surprising from Belgium ! Moreover, here the wifi is available throughout the university, in the Ikea cafeteria, in every audience, too practical when the course is boring! As you can see, that way is pretty impressive, I still do not have pictures, but I'll try to take my camera next week to show you all this!

Otherwise the entire month of October, there were so few in the industry days, each with a different area, and here they are super generous, I received a lot of USB drives 1GB, pens, bottle openers ...

Other small things that surprised me also, what are the cups of coffee! Indeed, by the beginning of the year, we all received a stainless steel cup, and when used, coffee and tea are less expensive, more history to avoid possible cups and therefore minimize waste! Not stupid at all, especially here in the cold, everyone is drinking, and during, it's pretty funny everyone has before him his cup, even the teacher! And here the hot water is free!

Otherwise, I also started courses in Norwegian, 'survival course', 6h per week 4weeks, the courses are free just for Erasmus! This is really extra, you learn everything from scratch, numbers, time, and basic conversations, but I can tell you that it's really not easy, sounds are completely different and there are new letters do not exist among us! Furthermore, we learn a Norwegian academic, and not necessarily one that people talk. You should know already that in Norway there are two official dialects and then into each region, they speak differently with different pronunciations! It promises to!

Well, I hope you realize that Erasmus is not only the gland, I work a lot this week, just to take full advantage of my weekends, and I admit that sometimes I dream to sleep a little longer! But hey I'm only here for 4months, so sleeping in it will be for the Christmas holidays when most will blockade! At this point, I shall have finished my exam '! I still have more than 3 weeks of classes and then blockade, it goes fast!

soon! And special hello to Marie-Pierre, thank you for your mail!

Ontario Licence Plates Available

A calmer .... WE

We're already half of the semester (quad) and no bowl here looks as the 'midterm "exams! Fortunately for me, I have only one of my 3cours, hence coming up this weekend, I put myself (at work)!

But here in Erasmus, all is not so simple because this weekend will still be completed even if I do not go through in mop Norway !

Indeed, first of all, this Thursday, October 4, two weeks after my trip to Lofoten, I organize a "Memorable Party in my flat" with, among other all those who participated in this trip! It was extra, and Again I was surprised they did not come empty handed, in addition to sour beers, they had some gifts for my birthday! The evening looking good ... check out the photos!

Saturday, October 6, ISU (International Student Union) organized the EURODINNER, the principle is simple, we had to prepare a 'dinner' to his own country by the team and we were rewarded for the presentation and the dish!

With Alice and Eloise, the Belgium team was ready! After more than an hour of discussion, we decided for this topic Saint Nicolas !!! And yes not easy to find something possible "kitchen" with ingredients that exist in Norway and with material that was! All week, we're trained to cook the best and the best biscuit crackers they are and truffles and chocolate covered marzipan! For the presentation, it was less complicated, drawings and crafts of St Nicolas, mandarin, false gifts, slippers, letters to St. Nicolas, St. Nicolas beer and carrots for the donkey! Not forgetting the sour disguise pajamas for all 3!

Once arrived there, all the stands were really impressive and a lot of competition waiting for us! You could taste everything was really delicious lasagna from Italy, English paella or other dishes German, French, Norwegian, Turkish, Dutch!! Our little Belgium team defended well, everyone loved it and other Belgian were too surprised by our delicious crackers! Indeed thank you mama for your jam, everyone has appreciated the cracker!

After 2h of wine tasting, the judges make their verdict at last! Outstanding! There were 4 prizes, one for the best presentation and three for the best dishes! Drum roll ... The Belgium team won for best presentation!! Yeaaaaaaaaaah! The United States, Italy and Germany won the other! Another wonderful evening where we met lots of people and shared our culinary specialties! It really does not get bored in Erasmus! Here are some pictures:

http://picasaweb.google.fr/Rachel.linel/MemorablePartyAndEurodinner

Going back to my midterm exam, everything went very well, I passed! And promised, dad, mom, in my next article, I'll tell you a little way and how it happens here in college!

Ginger Honey Soy Glaze

sunny with Jerome and Anouck

September 26 to October 1, Jerome and Anouck came to say hello here in Trondheim. After two flights and a trip on a bus, I welcome them in the rain in Trondheim ... Discussions burst forth in all directions so they have things to tell me! Moholt arrived, unpacked bags, 7 / 8 are for me! I'm spoiled again for my birthday, thank you all (Dad, Mom, and Julie Orphise, the stalemate ... and recognize that filled qq) and then what it's good to eat Belgian chocolate ... mmmh! Again, thank you!

Just arrived and still put out, I take them discover the joys of Erasmus, this evening, the Belgian (Alice and I) fessons cuisine ... menu, Tartiflette, not very flat as Belgium, here but not easy to find mold;) From Roblochon not either, but Jerome and Anouck had taken in Belgium! A real treat! Everyone loved it!

The next day, Thursday 27 September, I had during this holiday is not for everyone! Anouck Jerome and therefore have only discovered the city of Trondheim and the sun and more! In the evening I have with them in my first game of Ice Hockey: Black TIK Planters - Getligaen 07, but Trondheim (TIK..) Lost 0-1, few goals, but a good atmosphere all the same!

Friday we left early for a hiking trip in the southeast of Trondheim, after 30min bus was gone! The sky is blue and the sun is beautiful, repacked the heavy coat, it's like one month back, Norway is really surprising because of its climate! The ride is quiet and scenic surroundings, it takes time to admire and chat, pause break photos pictures Norway is at its best! It was really lucky!

Saturday again, I embarked in a hiking trip but this time with the other side of Erasmus Bimarka (Corner splendid 15min tram ride from downtown). And even today, the weather is beautiful, with fall colors on trees, the color of the water and sky blue, the pictures are beautiful ... sometimes wonder if we were well in Norway in late September!

Sunday, finally sleeping in, after two long days, it feels good ... And then afternoon walk behind Dragvoll always under the sun! And in the evening, I took him to eat pizza buffet at the turn Tyholt, panoramic restaurant and the room turns over on itself, we took advantage of the landscape one last time but this time of night!

This weekend was really enjoyable, I can not believe he is so beautiful ... For Photos: http://picasaweb.google.fr/Rachel.linel/DernierWeDeSeptembreWEEnsoleillAvecJRMeEtAnouck

Again thank you for everything, I know how your bags were loaded with comic! See you soon!

WE Lofoten and my birthday (Part 2)

Friday, September 21, September 22 midnight or so .... Happy Birthday J as the evening unfolded quietly, everyone started to sing! And then I was lucky enough to have just for me, this song in 10 different languages, I could not believe it: English French, Norwegian, Flemish, German, English, Italian, Portuguese, Greek and Catalan. How lucky I was to be there for my birthday with a quarantine of Erasmus! The evening was brilliant and every citizen bringing his little more for their dance or game to continue late into the night for the brave;) I actually tasted the tea and now I know Brazilian dance the Sirtaki!

Saturday 22 September, waking at 11am and direction?? Surprise, the bus takes us to Ramberg and beach ... and there, it was not not really disappointed, a surprising white sand, turquoise blue waters of ... the decor is more like a lagoon in the tropics as a shore of the Arctic! It was cold, but that did not stop the bravest swimming, for me just dip for photos;) Just look at the photos, they speak for themselves.

After this magnificent port, we take the bus to the departure of a small hiking trip to Sørvågen. In fact, you should know that Lofoten, it is not only the sea and coastlines indented by fjords but also a mountain range that forms the backbone of the island stops. But it's the rain that we discover these beautiful landscapes and waterfalls!

For the evening, the Norwegian who organized this trip (Ida, Elizabeth and Tormud) we had a feast ... cooked fish soup and salmon in foil, delicious ... and concocted one of his memorable evening! ! In addition, I was still spoiled me since William and Jorge 6 muffins cooked fudge for my birthday! This day was truly magnificent in every way view, I'm really lucky ....

Sunday, September 23: After a short night, it was already time to think quietly in storage, but before one last ride in a magnificent sun near the cabin! 14h start, but the return direction Moskenes to take the ferry to Bodø, this time was 4 hours by ferry ... but everyone was tired after this unforgettable weekend. Arrived in Bodo, the last "dinner" together in a pizzeria before joining the bus to travel up to 12 Moholt!

And here it is Monday morning and I go over with already full of memories in mind!

Here are the photos: http://picasaweb.google.fr/Rachel.linel/LofotenTripPart2

I hope that through these two articles and photos You have somehow traveled with me for some time dreaming because this trip was truly outstanding!

Woody Toy Story Blueprint

WE Lofoten (Part 1)

Each semester ( Quad ), International Student Union ( ISU) organizes a trip to the Lofoten Islands and according to witnesses, travel not to be missed for anything! But the task was not easy, because once registered, a lottery would determine who would leave or not. There were only 44 seats, fingers crossed! Yeah I paaaaaaaars J

Lofoten Islands are apparently a must to discover during a stay in Norway . This archipelago of ten islands located 200 km north of the Arctic Circle. I also found these few words on the Internet is a nice description before you show my photos end of the article:

"Over there, brightness arctic landscape gives a special glow, blue water is comparable to that of the sky, red fishing huts competes with deep green meadows and mountain slopes. Even more surprising in this chart , the presence of the white color, not just snow in the winter but it's long sandy beaches. "

Thursday, September 20, go to 19h. All Aboard for 16h bus to Skutvik to take a ferry towards Lofoten ( Svolvær ). And during the trip, to 2 am, while I was sleeping peacefully, guillaume woke ... "Look at The sky, Rachel! "There were several Aurora Borealis, too too good, it was the first time I saw here J

Friday, September 21, after a night the bus, we arrive with more 2hours in advance, we're free for a little walk ... The scenery is beautiful and the sun is there, ask for more?!?! The ferry is there, on board for two hours on board for the picnic, the sky is covered, it is gray and the wind blows, but this does not prevent us from staying on deck to enjoy the view and possibly why be a whale. Unfortunately, I have not seen me, by Richard cons (Brazil) he saw some dolphins! Around 14h, we finally win the mainland, Lofoten Islands us here! This aprem , visit the Viking Museum ... First, we embark together a Viking aboard a Viking ship where we are 'guests' rowing as true Vikings! Not easy, the train is rather heavy but the songs are there to encourage us especially that it is not hot! aaaaaaaaaaaahiiiiiiiiiiiii aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahooooooooooo ! After crossing the lake, we reach the house where a Viking guide awaits us, the visit is enjoyable and ends with a 'Viking Dinner'. Everyone is dressed in a cape, and we eat like real Vikings, a kind of stew cooked over a wood fire with mead!

After this long day we finally win our cabins in a small village, (pronounced 'o'), we left in several booths, I'm in the largest, a whopping 18 people! So much safer for the evening, everyone joined us, music and beer, the atmosphere Erasmus is here!

Cabin'Trip and the first snow

To Cabin'trip this second, I was more organized, then it was not difficult as this time it was expected for several days! We were 6, French, Belgian, German and Czech. As usual, towards the bus to take us from hiking. This Saturday, the weather was not really with us, rain 10min, 10min of sun and so on all day, not easy but hey you get used to Norway. Top touring easy on wide paths amidst a thick forest, then thickens a little, it climbs, but the view will be more lovely Summit, and with the altitude, it stopped raining, but it is snowing lightly. 2:30-After 3 hours walk, we leave the forest, following the directions and map, the Cabin no longer too far. Now there is a tree, or tree, only the bog and the wind blows! There is also more path and even if it stops raining, we're soaked to the knees! Small peak in small summit, we seek our Cabin, we turn around in circles, and it is slowly starting to get hungry ... After an hour and a half of research, we finally see our Cabin! Easy not easy when you know that Here the roofs here are most of the time on grass, it does not help the search! Just installed the hot outside that it snows a lot. It's a little of Cabin 8 people, it changes from the first of the month. The atmosphere is more intimate but not least! In the evening, a small feast, each of us had his bag of food. Between the soup cooked without a mixer, sausage, potatoes in their skins and meat cooked with fire, you do not stop eating! And to close, we had the chance to drink a good bottle of white wine brought by Lisa Germany.

The next day, wake at 11am and what a surprise, there was 5cm of snow with a beautiful blue sky and stalactites of the roof fell. After everything away and tried to cut a few logs, we are ready to go. The return was quick and sunny and the snow was already more than a memory ...

Can I Use A At&t Broadband With My Cell Phone

Geiranger Fjord Trip

1200 km through Norway for 3 days to discover the landscapes and scenery more beautiful than each other.

Friday, August 31 departure Moholt 11 hours under the sun, the adventure could begin. We were 15 loans for cars to board! For this, we rented two cars and one of us, Tim (Germany) had his, but no matter what, a BMW! Rental cars are not bad either ... with heated seats ... the class, and what fun to drive, but here the speed limits are fairly strict, 60km / h on a national L

Friday we parties are heading south towards the road of trolls, we're very fortunate because we followed the sun all day, so we could enjoy a max of these magnificent mountain scenery, waterfalls and snow galore and also the first Ferry ! Indeed, to cross the fjords, there are many 'ferry' in this region is much more faster than the bypass. This day was long but already full of memories ... we arrived late evening at the campsite where we have reserved a large "cabin" (wooden chalet).

Saturday morning, I can not tell you the general astonishment when, early morning awakening, we opened the curtains ... beautiful scenery around us, a huge waterfall behind our "cabin" and opposite Glacier Briksdal! This morning so small hike to the foot of the glacier, it was gray, but fortunately it was not raining! Noon we go again in the car direction Geiranger Fjord but the rain is here! We have discovered aboard a ferry one of the most beautiful fjord in the world, Geiranger, in the rain. For the remainder of the trip, the rain left us more! To end this day, we strolled in the town of Alesund (normally with a sort of circle on the A, but sorry I do not have Norwegian keyboard!) Before eventually joining another site run by a Dutchman!

For the last day of our trip, we followed the route of the Atlantic, which as its name suggests follows the Atlantic, a magnificent return point of view point of view but still in the rain and wind is Norway ! Upon return, we also stopped in Kristiansund for a little visit ... but the rain, the tour was quick! It is in these cases that you appreciate the heated seats of the car J

And as usual, here are some pictures (I really had trouble choosing them so I have done during these 3 days)

http://picasaweb.google.fr/Rachel.linel/GeirangerTrip31aoutAu2sept

The album is not complete yet, I expect more photos!

this small weekend was great, I take this opportunity to thank Eva, Cristina and Alice for the organization, reservations and everything that goes with it!

Is It Ok To Give My 3 Month Old Baby Anbesol?

My first Cabin'Trip

Friday, August 24, basement 24 as the basement every Friday night Erasmus is open! In chatting, here we are, Carole and I embarked from the morning to a Cabin'Trip. The clock was hard, but more motivated than ever, empty the fridge to get our picnic for the weekend .... 8:15 everyone is there to leave, unless of course the Spaniards, who as usual 'never arrive on time! In the rain, we expect the bus to Tydal, the departure of the small hike to the Cabin.

still little explanation, a "cabin" is actually a refuge in the mountains, but here these little wooden houses lost in the forest, they call them so! The university NTNU, has its own "cabin" for students, a night costs just 30nok per person, and that the fight for reservations, but worth the effort! There are "cabin" of all sizes, the smallest of 3-4 people to larger than twenty people. Some have a sauna, others a small boat on a nearby lake. By cons, there is no electricity and no water, here we drink the river water.

For our cabin, there was 2-3h bus, and then a hike of 5 km to reach our goal! Our cabin had a sauna, class! For the rest, go see my photos, they speak for themselves, from swimming in the lake, mushrooms, evening and all the band we had! Very nice weekend! Anouck and Jerome, so now you know what awaits you when you come!

Whats The Death Rate Of Navy Eod

Already Back to school!

August 20! And yes, it's back here in Norway! I discovered the university NTNU so crowded, it is teeming with all sides, between Bicycle parking in saturated and long aisles full of students. I confess, is not always easy to find so this is great, as I said before, it's right there: shops, post office, bank ... such a small town, there are even a nursery and I have not seen everything yet! Other details, NTNU are even boat in the port of Trondheim! Otherwise

level courses, I chose three, but each to 7.5 ECTS (these are the smaller streams, some are 10 or 15 ECTS), they each represent between 5 and 6am week! But here's a little different Leuven, since classes start all the hours and quarter hours and end stacks. Classes are either 2 or 3 o'clock, while TP had just one hour! But phew, here the teachers do not give many hours of courses, in fact, an hour here is actually 45 minutes, because the hours battery teachers go on a break of at least 15min, and they never forget since in each class or audience, there is a clock on every wall J class! Otherwise

for those interested here is my progress:

-Life cycle analysis and eco-efficiency

-Energy and environmental Physics

-Industrial Ecology

The return went very well, I'm finally officially entered in my classes and exams (already), and now I do not lose too much more Gløshaugen site to find my audience!

Classes have resumed, but I assure you, I always benefits both to discover and Trondheim Norway ! Besides, Wednesday, August 29, we went to see Rosenborg played was the last game of qualifying for the Champions League ! And yes, Rosenborg is the team the city of Trondheim, Black and White! What a feeling, especially since we won 2-0 against Tampere (Finland), the stadium was almost full, and sang a variety of Norwegian songs to finish on a nice fireworks! It now promises for the upcoming matches against Chelsea, Valencia and Shalk!

Here are some pictures of those first two weeks of classes and a few pictures of my apartment:

Additional photos are still come, Soyer patients

Small detail:

So here, instead to the "flyers under the windshield wipers of cars, they are stuck in the door luggage bikes, not stupid;)

Otherwise coming next two items to tell you my last two weekends! Cabin'trip in the first and the next through the Fjords to the south of Trondheim ...

Difference Between Mono And Flu

Orientation Week (Part 3)

Here now my last article about the special week Erasmus ... Frankly I do not regret not myself at all pre-registered for this week! I discovered around Trondheim, but more importantly, I met up with other Erasmus, all more extra than each other! Also, I could just gently apply my English!

Saturday: Baota trip! Depart late morning for a boat ride across the fjord from Trondheim towards a small fishing island. After an hour and a half boat, we arrived in this small village very typical. There we visited a museum (a bit lame) but followed by a delicious lunch with an ice cream for dessert before returning the boat to Trondheim. As you can see from the pictures, sun has a low profile, but fortunately it did not rain!

Here are the photos: http://picasaweb.google.fr/Rachel.linel/BoatTrip

Saturday evening: We had an appointment with an assoc 'of Norwegian students in central city out! Let's Go To The party at Tiger Tiger! Again, we were still over a hundred of Erasmus, it was great, but at 3 o'clock everybody out! It was madness for a taxi, huge queues at the four corners of the city. Small precision that has all its still important: first, we arrived at the happy hour (22-23h), so we have free admission and during that time, the beer costs 29 NOK in a glass (33cl) while that bottle (33cl) nok over 60, you do not really understand why! By cons after 23h, beer costs 59 NOK, so we enjoyed the ... (1 € = 8nok) But be aware that any double quotes here on Saturday evening, and that does not stop the Norwegians to go out and drink!

Again some photos: http://picasaweb.google.fr/Rachel.linel/TigerTiger

Sunday: I confess, the clock was hard to go on a bus tour and visit the Folk Museum! During the bus tour, we made our true tourists) Three stops for photos in all, the Ile aux Moines, the ski jumps and a magnificent view of Trondheim! Second, unlike the old museum was really interesting and outdoor J , a typical village in the Norwegian time-scale! Click on the link to see photos: http://picasaweb.google.fr/Rachel.linel/BusTourEtFolkMuseum

Note: Again, there is a kind of baptism, we saw some of their activities during the weekend, but I know no more;)

Extreme Female Genital Tattoo

Orientation Week (Part 2) The student parties

Here Following the special week Erasmus

Wednesday: It was a quieter day, again in the late morning of information, but this time more interesting, since it concerned the course! And here at NTNU, the exam dates are already known, so we can choose our courses based on that J For my part, I already made my choice, I have three classes, but I'll first go over before I sign up, just to see if the teacher speaks English and not half Norwegian!

the afternoon we were a pretty nice little museum, Ringve Museum, National Museum of the History of Music, guides played as and different instruments!

Thursday: Hiking in Bymark! Ballad to the day in the Norwegian nature! He was super nice, the scenery was spectacular, in fact you can see from the many photos! The morning, we are a party under the haze, but after lunch at a first point of view has found time to give us a beautiful and remote landscape, following the ride was wonderful to finally arrive at a lake or a barbecue we waited. You should know that here in Norway, the times are changing fast enough. Indeed, when swimming at the lake, a huge gray cloud passed over our heads, the big drache for 15min, and then again the great sun is Norway;) Another trick a little weird here is that you never know when you eat lunch, between lunch and barbecues provided, everything is a bit confusing for us Erasmus.

Friday: Visit Dragvoll, the other site of the Uni, NTNU, but it reserved the humanities. So I did not over there, which is only Gløshaugen fortunately for me closer to Moholt finally has 20 minutes anyway, so that changes of Leuven.

Here are pictures of the last two days:

http://picasaweb.google.fr/Rachel.linel/OrientationWeekPartie2

Some comments: Unlike us, here behind the houses, there is no pool, but trampolines, it's amazing;)

Average Size Of Women In Japan

Trondheim

After a week I'll have a little show you how to spend my evenings here , where we can finally go out on weekdays or weekends.

First, there are the "basements" that are located in the basement of each building in Moholt. There is a "basement" for each student group, plus or minus one per department courses plus other basements, such as Erasmus basement, the basement chinese and others that I do not know! They are all open on Saturday evening and if some night a week as well but this is not regular. For now I have been at the Erasmus basement last weekend and in another, the atmosphere is quite special, it's different from Louvain in any case, it will wait for the pictures ... For cons they close at midnight and the price of beer is 15 nok (divide by 8 to get in euros), after people often leave town ...

Then there's "Samfundet" a big assoc 'students, they have a big red building near the city center (30min walk). Here, there are big parties every Tuesday and Friday, plus sometimes other nights for concerts. It's huge, there is already a queue to get in and a cloakroom! Then, there are plenty of rooms with different atmospheres, cocktail bars to dance or sofas to chat. Finally it's really great to get lost and there are lots of people! I have already twice, and it's great, it is currently between Erasmus and the atmosphere is really good as you can see from the photos. The small problem is that beer is expensive nok 36, and again with the membership card is 46 nok and if admission is charged for those without the card!

Small precision, here you never know whether to tighten or to kiss the hand to say hello, it's pretty confusing, so finally we do nothing;)

Orientation Week (Part 1) First weekend in Trondheim

Classes begin officially on August 20 here. But from 13 August, there is the orientation week is a special week for Erasmus where plenty of activities planned for us, presentations, tours, excursions, bbq ... So the opportunity to meet lots of people from all over Europe and beyond, it's really great! The Spaniards, Germans and French are the most numerous, but more than 50 countries are represented. Here now, that's it, I am, I "speak" English: what's your name? Where do you come from? What are studiing you here? And here we go !

Here is a description of early this week Erasmus

Monday: A bus picked us up towards the campus. During the morning, we had some presentations about college in general, with a demonstration of Norwegian music.

the afternoon and evening, the time did not make a gift, very heavy rain fell, the ceiling of the Ikea cafeteria, campus shop and fled the campus was flooded, it was pretty impressive!

Tuesday: Today, large sun J the morning, it was the ceremony of home from Uni, NTNU, all prospective students were there for speeches rector, president of the students ... but in Norwegian. Cut a few songs and dances! Following this, various student movement sports, festivals or other displayed their bandrole or perform a demonstration to attract people like a market!

Then it was bbq in lawns of the college, only to Erasmus, Norwegian or other specialty, a real treat followed by a game launch in Norway. After this little relaxing time, place back to more serious things a priori, in an audience more than colorful, each student committees from various departments (architecture, electronics, mathematics ....) Came to present their activities (parties , bbq and skiing holidays) and touting their advantage on the price of beer!

Friday: After two flights, Brussels-Oslo-Trondheim and Oslo, here I am finally arrive at the scene of my Erasmus! What beautiful weather, blue skies, it's better here than in Belgium, I'm lucky, but much will it last?!! Then I take the bus to "student village" (Moholt), the miles I have already given a first glimpse of the sun under the Norwegian coast, between forest and green fields long stretches of water, wow!

Arrive Moholt I moved to my apartment. Around my university, NTNU, there are three villages student, I'm in the biggest, busiest, it looks a bit like Louvain, only students, Erasmus or Norwegians, with supermarkets, bookstores, banks, Post and sports fields, but it is much greener, trees and lawn at will. So these are four apartments, everything is new, it's class, Grand Lux, moreover we have a dishwasher and two fridges! Me, I'm with a Norwegian Bergen Ayric, a German, Caroline and another German, Michael.

Saturday: First trip in Trondheim for exploring this beautiful city typically Norwegian, between the cathedral, the old neighborhoods, downtown, parks and the old bridge, not to mention the large campus Trondheim, I'm lucky the sun is still in the appointment, here are some pictures:

Sunday: After having made the acquaintance of Erasmus French, I go with them to spend the afternoon on the beach in the fjord of Trondheim, the third longest fjord in Norway, but so long walk Today, the sky is gray and at times the wind shows the tip of his nose. Some photos are online:

Here is my first weekend here, for the moment everything goes well, I do not feel lost in this country. By cons, here I walk a lot, since Moholt is 4km from the city center and the campus is located half-way! In addition, it is not easy and that Moholt is on the top of the city, I do not even tell you the altitude that I'll have to do every day to go over! That's why everyone here travels by bike, I've never seen so many bike parking lot, also here there is an elevator for bicycles. Trondheim is the first city in the world to see has installed an elevator designed for cyclists, it's pretty original!
