Christmas is coming .... shops and houses are adorned with garlands, santa claus, snowman and co ... sometimes very good taste, sometimes outrageous, but we love it anyway!
This period before festival is one of my favorites, browse through the shops looking for gifts, eating roasted chestnuts to warm little fingers frozen, tracking down the most beautiful Christmas tree in the world, hear songs from all over Christmas kitsch all over each other, think foie gras on the evening of 24 and especially look forward to these moments with family and friends ... yes extras bin good this year, we must admit that the Christmas spirit was first taken a hit in the wing. This is certainly one of the most difficult periods in life when you're away ... but hey, we're not going still not let go, eh?
all started in the chocolate, we started listening to Christmas songs all day (apparently it's a marketing study that would push the customer to spend more at all ... If it's a bit drunk at the end of the day!), then make the sleigh, Santa Claus, Christmas trees, trains, snowflakes, stars in chocolate ... then, well, my Christmas spirit, buried well, woke up a little!
Then gradually as the days go ... evening, bike, under the twinkling lights and big daddy lit Christmas has become very pleasant.
One evening we decided, friends, roommates, find themselves at the Christmas market. .. mulled wine and raclette was there too, a little too expensive to spend the evening, so we decided to do our own mulled wine at home, along with crepes and cider. What? It's not Mardi Gras? It does not matter, mix all the holidays, as long as the mood is there! 
Last Saturday there was the Christmas parade in downtown ... I was working, but went there in Adri envoy ... I do not think not unconvinced that the police and large tanks advertising is delighted, but see Vancouver crowded looked like a nice experience!
Last Friday I started my Christmas shopping .... gently on Granville Island, between another, all light and lovely shops of artisans dressed . And that, it lifts your spirits!
Saturday, icing on the gift, making full Tortilla de patatas by our English friends, we decided, like this, to start looking for a Christmas tree. .. ahaha, and there, the Christmas spirit came out of hibernation! Songs of Christmas fire in our fireplace (thank you, chimney sweeps, adri and charlotte!), Deco confections, nursery, and all the pretty little world all happy, that's Christmas approaching!
since we fell in love with our christmas tree ... and the show took a look cozy. Games, christmas moove, discussions, drinks, everything takes place here between the fireplace and fir. It is not life grand? hehe ... now it's motivated and enthusiastic we prepare for Christmas, Vancouver or later, watch this, it works anyway hard to afford a nice moment, a cozy place to remind us our homes and all of you.
